The master bedroom is on the main floor and there are two guest bedrooms and a full bath upstairs. There are towels and bedding--600 count sheets-- for your use.

The property has a variety of fruit and nut trees - apple, pear, a sour cherry and a sweet cherry, heartnut, butternut and hazelnut trees. There are hundreds of other plantings and trails the owner keeps mowed for wonderful evening strolls to the sound of the peeping frogs. The cabin is on over 5 acres which adjoins thousands of acres of New York City’s largest reservoir and looks out on to the Catskill Park beyond.

You can access the owners' pond across the road with permission, which will be given the week of your arrival. Although not open to swimming, the Pepacton Reservoir is wonderful to bike around but you are not allowed on the water - only registered rowboats have access and only for the purpose of fishing. Great fishing guides, like you'll find in Downsville or Hancock, can get you out on the water with ease though. The owner has a permitted rowboat you can use to fish on the reservoir if you have your DEP permit. Come experience the western Catskills -- any time of year makes for special memories.
